Díky jen si nejsem úplně jistý jestli je k čemu.

Zbyla mi po původním majiteli epirb boje s hydrostatickm uvolněním. Asi bude chtít vyměnit baterku ale jinak je v poho. Chtěl bych za ní 50 euro. Je k vyzvednutí v kalamate v messenii

Rád bych vznesl zdvořile dotaz zdejším zkušeným harcovnikum. Ve stavu připojení k shore power mi v okamžiku kdy termostat zapne kompresor ledničky vyskočí ručička ukazatele tlaku oleje v převodovce (borg warner Velvet drive) na max a vibruje tam. Tedy až do dneška kdy kompresor ledničky začal běžet vždy jen na pár sekund a pak se vypne lhostejno na nastavení termostatu

Hello,

Sorry but I only speak English.
I used to own the boat you are currently have. The fridge compressor was replaced 2 times in the time we owned it. Although in your case its appears to be your thermostat which is giving the issue. The problem with the gauges is that any small ground fault on the 24vdc can cause the gauges to jump. When we did the rewiring of the 24Vdc, we did not think to add a ground fault indicator. Hallo and sorry for delayed reaction

We have also already replaced the fridge compressor - and also the thermostat - twice. Ground fail seems to me recently as the real cause of problem and rewiring is among planned jobs.

Another question - did you have anode studs connected straight to wires?
After the last season traces of condensed salt appeared in compartment where anode connection is. Than - during anode exchange we have find out one of anode studs/bolts spins almost freely. Other anode stud was glassed over but next to it we found small spot of naked fibres with moisture.
We have grinded out the top wet layer and found metal tape under layer of GRP - the metal tape goes out of GRP next to anode to form a connection on which all the wires were fastened. Underneath the tape it seems to be some cavity but it does not look wet or damaged. Weird is the wet spot was close to the stud which does not spin freely and is covered by epoxy layer. Even weirder is the tape goes in paralel line with axis of both anode studs and does not seem to be anyhow connected to the studs. The GRP layer which covers the tape seems not to be factory mady.

We have also thought if this could be reason why our anode was wasted since february till october last year - but we did not have galvanic isolator and stayed a time in marina on shore power which as we have heard may also contribute to lower anode lifespan.

Hello,

I am also late with my answers, I did not monitor this forum.

Can you be alittle clearer with the location? Is that by the bunk bed cabin under the floor? That is the only anode I can think of which has wires attached. I believe that was fitted due to earthing issues, it should not have any fiberglass around it. Do you have any photo's which can I look at? Then I know for certain if we are talking about the same one.

The only work done with the hull was a special treatment for osmosis on the hull below the water line. This was done on the outside hull, it is possible that they added strips later. When they were busy with the treatment we could not step aboard, so it might be possible they added the strips for some reason.

I would suggest keeping on eye on the inlet valve for the main engine, we have had small leaks from there before. Nothing major but difficult to see if you are not watching. When I was last on board, I saw some build up of green like rust, which suggests it was leaking again. We have removed the valve many times to try to seal it. Unfortunately when the ship was built, the did not do a great job on cutting the holes. The fiberglass was chipped around the inlet hole, thus making it difficult to seal. I read about your difficulties with the portside fuel tank, we had no idea that it was in such bad shape. It possible in the time it was standing still that it degraded. I will see if i can find the electrical drawing for you, it should make your life easier.

Exactly as you say - it is the bunk cabin under the floor panel - we call it kids cabin - i shall send a picture
I thought the earthing is connected to the brass plate at the stern - very end of submerged part of hull, underneath of master cabin bed (starboard side). I am planning to check it out as soon as possible. It looks the earthing problems are persisting - we have spent hundreds of euro for solving problems with fridge as it still move the transmission oil pressure gauge when compressor is on. The local electrician have changed the oil pressure sending unit, all the wiring of fridge - everything without effect.

Thanks also for noting problems with sea water inlet valve for main engine - it seems to be OK now - but it is oxidized - as almost all seacocks - in February i have changed the one of head exhaust - besides the waste tank in master cabin. Many thanks to You for having left one among all the useful spare parts.

No doubt the staying in Gibraltar and lack of care of the bastard Pascual caused a lot of damages. What a pity we could not obtain the boat straight from your family. Please be so kind to send me a message on +420 704 517 134 (whatsapp or SMS)
